Today
is Mani Monday! How exciting is that? Ombre hair is still a hot trend and if
you are a little scared to dye yours you might as well give your nails that
gorge look.
This
is a very versatile and fun look since you can play with any color combination.
Because we are in fall, I suggest berry tone colors which are very trendy.
Below is the list of materials you’ll need to achieve this fun look.
When you select your
two nail polishes, make sure that they are in the same color range. The
difference will be in how dark or light the colors are.
Step
by step:
1. Apply your
white nail polish as a base coat and let it dry.
2. Make sure your base
coat is completely dry. Take your two colors and pour few drops on a surface as
shown in the pictorial.
3. Take your makeup
sponge and dip it in the drops.
4. You will dab from one
side of your nail to the other until the gradient look is achieved. You need to be careful
not to do it more than two to three times because you can mess it up.
5. Quickly after the
previous step, you will take your clear top coat and apply it. This will
improve the color transitions.
6. Finally, take your
nail polish remover and with a nail brush or a Q-tips clean the edges and you are
basically done.
